I have been repairing domestic appliances for 18 years now which is a long time considering I am only 36 years old.
After leaving college at 18 I found a job with a company called Hotpoint It was a three year apprenticeship which covered working in the stores picking spare parts and booking customer service calls and then being a field service engineer with extensive training on all of their products. I then progressed to senior service engineer and then Team Leader responsible for 8 engineers.
After working for Hotpoint for 9 years I decided to take the plunge and go it alone as they say and so far I've not looked back
I can now offer my customers a timed appointment rather than sometime between 8am and 6pm and usually call out within 2 working days rather than Hotpoint's 1 or 2 weeks. I am now greeted with a smile from my customers
90% of my workload is from my existing customer base and recommendations from them of which I am very grateful. the other 10% is from my websites.
